Coach Jerry Venturino, Owner

Jerry Venturino is the Head Football Coach of the Jefferson Township Falcons. Prior to his tenure at Jefferson Township, Coach Venturino coached football for ten years at Hopatcong High School. He was the Head Coach from 2012-2015, where his team was the Liberty Division Champions and he was awarded “Sussex County Coach of the Year” for the 2014 season. He has experience coaching all positions, including the offensive and defensive lines, skill positions, and special teams. Coach Venturino played the quarterback position at Moravian College and was 2005 team MVP while earning his BA in Sociology and Elementary Education.

Coach Bill Stager

Bill Stager has been the Defensive Coordinator for the Jefferson Township High School football team since 2005. He was the Offensive Coordinator for the Falcons in 2003-2004. Coach Stager was on staff when the Falcons went to the State Championship in 2002 and he was the defensive coordinator for the 2008 State Championship team. Coach Stager also coached for High Point Regional and Butler High School and had the honor of coaching in the Robeson East vs. West All-State Classic from 2003-2005. He also holds a master’s degree in teaching from Marygrove College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from William Paterson University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina.  

Coach Andrew Scalone

Andrew Scalone is currently the Offensive and Defensive Line Coach at Jefferson Township High School. He is entering his third year as a Health and Physical Education teacher at Jefferson Township Middle School after previously teaching in the Montville and Chatham school districts. Coach Scalone grew up in Montville, playing football and baseball for the Mustangs. He went on to coach football in Montville from 2001 through 2003 and again in 2015. He spent two years as the wide receivers and kick and punt returners coach for the Fairleigh Dickinson Devils in Florham Park, NJ and two years as the freshmen football coach at Parsippany High School. Coach Scalone holds a BA in graphic design from Seton Hall University and an MA in education from Montclair State University. He currently lives in Montville with his wife Amanda, son Marco, daughter Sabrina and their dog Doc.
Coach Anthony Vasile
Coach Vasile was a two sport athlete who graduated from Jefferson Township High School in 2011. Vasile played running back and defensive back for the Falcons and was a member of the 2008 Group II State Championship Team. He was also a wrestler for Jefferson and a State Qualifier. Vasile continued his wrestling career at Wilkes University before transferring to William Patterson University where he graduated with a BA in History. Coach Vasile is currently a football coach at Morris Hills High School and a wrestling & lacrosse coach at Morris Knolls High School.
